Rep. James Clyburn Compares The ‘Dynamics’ Of President Trump & Republicans To Nazi Germany

Charlotte Observer Video Screen Shot, Axios On HBO Video Screen Shot
House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) compared the “dynamics” of President Trump and the Republican Party to the rise of Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
Clyburn made the remarks while interviewing with Jim VandeHei on “Axios on HBO”.
“This country, if we’re not careful, are gonna repeat some history that’s not pleasant,” Clyburn told VandeHei.
While elaborating, Mr. Clyburn said that President Trump considers anything “fake news” unless it favors him, and he complained that Trump considers himself “The Law-Enforcer-In-Chief”.
“That’s the kind of stuff that took place after 1932 in Germany,” Clyburn proclaimed. “I do believe that [if] this country, this electorate is not definitive in this election this year, this country could very well go the way of Germany in the 1930s. I really seriously feel that.”
Moments later, Mr. Clyburn tried to sharpen his claim when he suggested that Republicans knew President Trump told “31 lies” in his State of the Union Address, but cheered him on anyway. He then compared it to how Adolf Hitler rose to power. Video Below
“The people of Germany knew Adolf Hitler was lying, but they cheered him on. And before they knew it, they no longer had a chancellor, but a dictator,” Clyburn declared. “Anything that’s happened before can happen again.”
Surprised by Clyburn’s remarks, VandeHei replied, “That’s pretty stark terms, right? You’re comparing Republicans to Nazis, right — the dynamics?” Clyburn nodded in agreement and said, “The dynamics, the dynamics.”
When asked what happened to cause Republicans to go down this path, Clyburn said, “I don’t know what happened…I think the poster child would be Lindsey Graham.” Video Below

President Trump Considers A ‘Full Pardon’ Of General Michael Flynn Amid Reports That The FBI ‘Lost’ Records

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Sunday to announce that he is “strongly considering” a full pardon for his former national security adviser General Michael Flynn.
“So now it is reported that, after destroying his life & the life of his wonderful family (and many others also), the FBI, working in conjunction with the Justice Department, has ‘lost’ the records of General Michael Flynn,” the president tweeted.
So now it is reported that, after destroying his life & the life of his wonderful family (and many others also), the FBI, working in conjunction with the Justice Department, has “lost” the records of General Michael Flynn. How convenient. I am strongly considering a Full Pardon!
General Michael Flynn pleaded guilty in December 2017 about his conversations with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislak before Donald Trump’s inauguration as president.
He was originally charged by special counsel Robert Mueller, who was tasked with investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election and any links between Trump campaign members and Russian officials. Flynn’s sentencing is currently on hold as a judge reviews his claims.
Former FBI Director James Comey admitted he took advantage of the chaos in the early days of the Trump administration when he sent special agent Peter Strzok and another FBI agent to talk to Flynn, reported Washington Examiner. (Continued Below)
Flynn is in the process of trying to withdraw his guilty please, claiming that he’s the victim of misconduct by prosecutors. Sidney Powell has argued “there never would’ve been a plea to begin with” if Flynn knew how much information the DOJ was hiding from him.
The Justice Department called Flynn’s claims of innocence “an extraordinary reversal.”
Flynn’s team told the U.S. District Court in Washington in January, “I am innocent of this crime.” He filed to withdraw his guilty plea after the Justice Department asked Judge Emmet Sullivan to sentence Flynn to up to six months in prison, though afterward, the department said it believed probation would also be appropriate. Flynn’s team, led by Sidney Powell, a former federal prosecutor, is now pressing for the dismissal of his case, arguing that the client was unfairly treated by the FBI, as per Washington Examiner.
Attorney General William Bar ordered a review of Flynn’s case in February by an outside prosecutor, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri Jeffrey Jensen.
For months, Powell has insisted that the original draft of the FBI’s notes from its interview with Flynn has gone missing. In one September 2019 filing, Powell asked the judge to help produce “the original draft of Mr. Flynn’s 302 and 1A file, and any FBI document that identifies everyone who had possession of it,” as per Washington Examiner.
“Where is the original 302?” Powell tweeted in January. “It cannot be ‘missing’.” (Video Below)
After Attorney General William Barr selected U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Jensen to review the Flynn case, Powell tweeted that Jensen “should demand the Original Flynn 302 and audit trail” because “as former FBI, he knows it’s not ‘missing’.”
“The longer this false prosecution continues, the worse DOJ & FBI look,” she said.
John Solomon obtained a copy of a letter between Mueller and Flynn’s defense team, which states that “according to an internal DOJ memo dated January 30, 2017, after the January 24 interview, the FBI advised that based on the interview the FBI did not believe Flynn was acting as an agent of Russia.” (Continued Below)

Gov. Cuomo Praises Trump & Pence Over Their Quick Response On Coronavirus: “Kudos Where Kudos Are Due”

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo issued rare praise toward President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence over their quick & decisive handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
Cuomo gave “kudos” to both leaders while speaking at a press conference on Monday, where he applauded significant increases in coronavirus tests in his state.

“Our testing numbers are way up, as you’ll see,” Cuomo told the media. “By the end of this week, we think we’re going to be up to about 7,000 tests per day, which is an exponential increase for what we have done.”
“I made this suggestion to the Vice President. I made it to the President,” he added.
“I often tell you when I am unhappy with the federal response to this state. The fairness dictates that kudos where kudos are due. And here, the Vice President and the President responded very quickly,” Gov. Cuomo declared. “So, I thank them for that.” Video Below
While testing efforts appear to be rapidly on the incline, Dr. Anthony Fauci also announced on Monday that vaccine trials for coronavirus have started in a record pace of just 65 days.

Obama Officials Openly Committing Treason And President Trump Should Have Them All Locked Up

Treason is in season if you’re a former Obama administration official, as they continue to test the boundaries of the Trump administration — and U.S. law — by continuing to remain in contact with arch-nemesis Iran.
As our readers are aware, former Secretary of State John Kerry was busted — again — for continuing his contacts with the terrorist-sponsoring Iranian regime in a bid, ostensibly, to ‘save’ the nuclear deal he and Obama negotiated.
At the time, POTUS Donald Trump and some Republican lawmakers called on Kerry to be investigated (and charged) under the 18th-century Logan Act:
Last year Kerry, Obama’s second secretary of state after the chronically criminally investigated Hillary Clinton left the position, admitted to having secret discussions with the Iranian foreign minister, Javad Zarif, “three or four times” to talk about the nuclear deal that POTUS Trump exited.
“John Kerry violated the Logan Act, plain and simple,” the president said Thursday. “He shouldn’t be doing that.”
The act is little-changed since its passage and has never been used. It’s short; here’s what it says, for the most part:
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
While it’s not known what Kerry and Zarif discussed, it’s fair to say it had nothing to do with hockey scores or ‘the grandkids.’ To be sure, what Kerry did sure sounds like a textbook violation of the Logan Act.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) thought so too. He called on an increasingly busy Attorney General William Barr to investigate Kerry’s interference.
As the Trump administration builds up forces in the Persian Gulf in response to intelligence indicating that Tehran may have been planning an attack against American forces, the senator from the Sunshine State sent a letter to Barr asking he investigate Kerry’s ties to Iran and find out just exactly what his secret talks were all about.
“The American people deserve to know that U.S. laws are enforced regardless of any individual’s past position. The Department of Justice should therefore make a determination on whether or not former Secretary of State John F. Kerry’s recent actions related to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with Iran potentially violate the Logan Act or the Foreign Agents Registration Act,” Rubio wrote.
Now, thanks to The Daily Beast, we learn that a group of former Obama officials not only have been talking to Iranian leaders, but they did so again recently to tell them, essentially, not to react to the president’s military build-up.
Giving advice to a foreign power who is a stated adversary of the United States, in other words. That’s not a “Logan Act” violation, that is straight-up treason.
The Daily Beast:
As the Trump administration sent warplanes and an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf, a small group of former Obama administration officials reached out to their contacts in the Iranian government, including Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. Their message to Iran: Don’t take Trump’s bait. Stay calm.
[…]
…lawmakers on Capitol Hill pressed for details about the threat, at times turning to former Obama officials for answers.
Three Obama officials who worked closely on the Iran nuclear deal, one of whom is still in touch with Iranian government officials, traveled to Capitol Hill to brief congressional Democrats about the situation. Those former officials said would not say if they passed information from Iranian government officials to members of Congress. Rather, they said they focused on educating members about their experience working with Iranian leaders and how Tehran reacts to economic pressure.
Several former officials who spoke to The Daily Beast stressed that their discussions with their Iranian contacts were “normal.” But in other corners, these kind of talks cause alarm. A Republican congressional aide who works on Iran policy told The Daily Beast the conversations may run counter to the Trump administration’s messaging to the Iranian government.
[…]
One former official who worked on the Obama administration’s Iran policy told The Daily Beast he spoke with Iranian government officials as recently as a few weeks ago, as tensions were cresting. His message, he said, was simple: The Trump administration can escalate things plenty all by itself; the Iranians shouldn’t take the bait, fuel the fire, and move things from bad to worse by, for example, pulling completely out of the nuclear deal.
Another former senior Obama administration official, who said he was not himself aware of the conversations, called the talks “neither unusual nor particularly consequential.”
“Exaggerating their significance lends undue credence to those cynically blaming others for their own failing approach,” the ex-official said.
‘Cynical?’ Is this clown serious?
There isn’t anything more ‘cynical’ than undermining a U.S. administration as it conducts foreign policy with the aim of protecting 312 million American citizens — even bozos and Democrats who are more willing to provide political aid and comfort to an adversary than their own government.
The 2018 National Security Strategy [.PDF] adopted by the administration clearly identifies Iran as a threat:
China and Russia challenge American power, influence, and interests, are empting to erode American security and prosperity. They are determined to make economies less free and less fair, to grow their militaries, and to control information and data to repress their societies and expand their influence. At the same time, the dictatorships of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Islamic Republic of Iran are determined to destabilize regions, threaten Americans and our allies, and brutalize their own people…
Iran supports terrorist groups and openly calls for our destruction….
The United States is deploying a layered missile defense system focused on North Korea and Iran to defend our homeland against missile attacks….
The United States also works with allies and partners to deter and disrupt other foreign terrorist groups that threaten the homeland—including Iranian-backed groups such as Lebanese Hizballah…
The Iranian regime sponsors terrorism around the world. It is developing more capable ballistic missiles and has the potential to resume its work on nuclear weapons that could threaten the United States and our partners…
And so on.
Iran is a declared enemy of the United States. It doesn’t matter whether John Kerry, Barack Obama, Democrats, or other former Obama administration officials think so. POTUS Trump is president now and he gets to make those determinations.
If what these people are doing — apparently in cooperation with Democrats on Capitol Hill — doesn’t amount to treasonous behavior or some other violation of U.S. law, there is no such thing.

Tlaib Tries Explaining Why She Retweeted David Hogg Saying ‘F*** National Day Of Prayer’

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Friday to announce March 15 as a “National Day of Prayer”, for all Americans affected by the coronavirus pandemic and for our national response efforts.
“It is my great honor to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer. We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these,” the president tweeted. “No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith. Together, we will easily PREVAIL!”
On Saturday, Dr. Ben Carson the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, brought up the “National Day of Prayer”, during a news conference, as the White House coronavirus task force gave an update on COVID-19.
Dr. Carson told reporters during the briefing, “President Trump is going to be recommending a ‘National Day of Prayer’. And you know, we’ve gotten away from prayer and faith a lot in this country.”
“There’s nothing wrong with Godly principles, no matter what your faith is,” Dr. Carson expressed. “Loving your neighbor, caring about the people around you, developing God-given talents to the utmost, so you can become valuable to the people around you, and being values and principles that govern your life.”
David Hogg tweeted a video of Dr. Carson’s remarks and wrote: “Don’t let this administration address COVID-19 like our national gun violence epidemic. F**k a National day of prayer, we need immediate comprehensive action.” (Continued Below)
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), over the weekend, had retweeted David Hogg’s tweet, which she ultimately deleted after coming under fire.
Catholic League President Bill Donohue took issue with Rep. Tlaib’s tweet and has appealed to the House Ethics Committee to reprimand the Michigan congresswoman after her “obscene assault on people of faith.”
“As president of the largest Catholic civil rights organization, I am requesting the House Committee on Ethics to issue a letter of reprimand to Rep. Rashida Tlaib,” Mr. Donohue wrote in a letter addressed to Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL), the chairman of the committee. (Continued Below)
Donohue called out Rep. Tlaib for retweeting Hogg including the phrase “F**k a National day of prayer,” saying that by doing so the Michigan Democrat has “targeted entire collectivities, crossing the line by insulting Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Mormons, Muslims and people of all faiths.”
“In a time when the nation is trying to come together, Rep. Tlaib is attacking the faithful,” Donohue also noted. “At the very least, the House Ethics Committee should reprimand her. … To do nothing is to send the wrong message to millions of Americans.”

Loyal Bernie Sanders Voters Warn Of ‘Mass Exodus’ From Democrat Party If Joe Biden Wins 2020 Nomination

(USA Features) Voters who have loyally supported socialist Democratic presidential contender Sen. Bernie Sanders increasingly say they will leave the Democratic Party if former Vice President Joe Biden wins the 2020 presidential nomination.
If that pans out, the New York Post reported, it could have a very positive effect on President Donald Trump’s reelection chances in November.
“We will never – NEVER boost or support Joe Biden or defend his abysmal record and terrible policy positions,” Henry Williams, executive director of The Gravel Institute, told The Post.

“We will tell people, as we always have, to vote their conscience and to make decisions based on the interests of all the world’s oppressed people … I do expect a massive exodus from the Democratic Party,” he continued.
David Oks and Henry Magowan, along with Williams, are the driving forces behind the brief presidential campaign of Mike Gravel, an 89-year-old former Alaska senator who left the race in August.
They all then became enthusiastic “Bernie Bros.”
“I don’t know if I could vote for Biden,” said a high-profile local Democratic Socialist, the Post reported. “Biden is just an old white guy who inspires nobody. I sincerely think he will lose the electoral and popular vote and I know I won’t be voting for him in New York.”
The grumbling from Sanders supporters isn’t simply an idle threat, the paper reported. Some 12 percent of voters who supported Sanders’ failed 2016 presidential bid wound up supporting Trump on Election Day, according to an analysis by Cooperative Congressional Election Study.
That added an additional 216,000 voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, according to exit polls. Trump’s combined margin of victory in those states was 77,744.
Other Sanders supporters most assuredly sat out the 2016 election while some also probably voted for a third-party candidate in protest, political analysts noted, according to the Post.

Rashida Tlaib Retweets “F*^% A National Day of Prayer,” Tries To Clean It Up After Backlash

Rashida Tlaib continues to disgrace and if she is not careful she will be the main reason Trump wins her home state.
Tlaib is a flamethrower to be sure and as per usual she rushed to judge and commented when she ought not.
She is a follower and in that way exposes the Democrats group think. Take what she did yesterday.
Trump declared yesterday National Day of Prayer to support those hurt by the coronavirus pandemic.
One showboat and total opportunist and who took the chance to get attention was Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg.
He tweeted out, “F*^% a National Day of Prayer.”
Enter US Congressman Rashida Tlaib who saw the tweet and retweeted it. She has since deleted it but the internet is forever.
Under pressure she tried to clean it up, she tweeted:
“Let me be clear as someone who has been praying through this all & as someone who attended the National Prayer Breakfast.
My retweet was not to be an attack on prayer. It was to bring attention to the need for meaningful action to combat this public health crisis.”
This is how @RashidaTlaib feels about Americans faith in God. She agrees with @davidhogg111 when he says “Fuck a National Day of Prayer, we need immediate comprehensive action.” They both may as well be telling Americans to F&%k their faith.
Let me be clear as someone who has been praying through this all & as someone who attended the National Prayer Breakfast. My retweet was not to be an attack on prayer. It was to bring attention to the need for meaningful action to combat this public health crisis.

AOC Implies The Crisis Has Taught A ‘Major Lesson’ In Favor Of Social Policies, Candace Owens Reacts: “Absolute Numbskull”

On Friday, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez implied that the COVID-19 crisis has taught people a “major lesson” in favor of some of the social policies she has promoted, and that they really are possible. She then urged Americans to take the lesson and “move it forward to push for a better world.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks come in wake of unprecedented measures President Trump and Congress are taking to help give Americans relief during the coronavirus pandemic.
AOC tweeted, “One enormous, major lesson that I hope people realize in this moment: Resistance to revolutionary policy was never really about a lack of money, or capacity, or logistics.”
“It was always about power and a lack of political will,” she continued. “Let’s take this lesson and move it forward to push for a better world.”
“We CAN guarantee healthcare. We CAN treat housing as a right. We CAN pursue decarceral policy. We CAN prioritize humanitarian foreign policy. We can. We can. We can,” Ocasio-Cortez proclaimed.
Candace Owens mocked the so-called Democratic-Socialist after seeing her tweet, and put into perspective the ugliness of what is really going on right now. See Below

Candace replied, “You must have missed the part where this ‘resistance’ has just crashed our economy in the space of two weeks. This is not a socialist success story. You cannot be this dense.”
In a second tweet, Candace went on to say, “YES @AOC: WE CAN destroy lives. WE CAN crash the economy. WE CAN make people fight over toilet paper at the grocery story. With socialism—we can, we can, we can, you absolute numbskull.” See Below

Pelosi On Coronavirus Legislation Negotiations: “I’m Not Sticking Around Because [Repubs] Don’t Want To Agree To Language”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) during a press conference Thursday, told reporters that she “wasn’t sticking around” Capitol Hill because Republicans “don’t agree to language” on the “Families First Coronavirus Response Act“, a legislative package that was released by House Democrats Wednesday night.
Pelosi said at her weekly news conference that House Democrats plan to bring their coronavirus response package to the floor for a vote on Thursday.
Speaker Pelosi told reporters that Democrats are “addressing” some Republican concerns in their coronavirus response legislation, saying the Trump administration’s suggestions have so far been “very reasonable.”
However, she became flustered when a reporter had asked about House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who suggested that the House stay in session instead of leaving for a week-long recess in order to further negotiate changes to the coronavirus legislation.
“One of the issues that the Minority Leader is talking about has to do with– he believes that compromise could take place within the next 24-48 hours. But if it doesn’t, Republicans are willing to stay and work this out,” the reporter said.
“We don’t need 48 hours,” Pelosi stated. “We need to just make a decision to help families right now. Because we have to operate, not as business as usual, but as an emergency status that we have to get the job done.” (Continued Below)
“If the decision isn’t made, will you stick around?” the reporter then asked Pelosi.
“I’m not sticking around because they don’t want to agree to language,” Pelosi vented. “We’re agreeing to much of what they have to [present].” Pelosi said, adding that members who have complaints should “save it for another day.”
“We are responding to their concerns, we don’t want them moving the goalposts, and that’s it,” she said. (Video Below)
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tweeted on Thursday: “Notwithstanding the scheduled state work period, the Senate will be in session next week. I am glad talks are ongoing between the Administration and Speaker Pelosi. I hope Congress can pass bipartisan legislation to continue combating the coronavirus and keep our economy strong.”
Speaker Pelosi’s official remarks:
Q: Would House Dems stay if compromise isn’t reached on the coronavirus response bill in the next 24-48 hours?@SpeakerPelosi: “We don’t need 48 hours, we need to just make a decision to help families right now… I’m not sticking around bc they don’t want to agree to language
Pelosi sought to include a potential way to guarantee federal funding for abortion into the coronavirus economic stimulus plan, according to multiple senior White House officials, Daily Caller reported.
As reported by Daily Caller:
Speaking to the Daily Caller, those officials alleged that while negotiating the stimulus with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, Pelosi tried to lobby for “several” provisions that stalled bipartisan commitment to the effort. One was a mandate for up to $1 billion to reimburse laboratory claims, which White House officials say would set a precedent of health spending without protections outlined in the Hyde Amendment. (Continued Below)
The Hyde Amendment blocks clinics that perform abortions from receiving federal funding, and Democrats have pushed the Trump administration to end it since he was elected in 2016.
“A new mandatory funding stream that does not have Hyde protections would be unprecedented,” one White House official explained. “Under the guise of protecting people, Speaker Pelosi is working to make sure taxpayer dollars are spent covering abortion — which is not only backwards, but goes against historical norms.”
A second White House official referred to the provision as a “slush fund” and yet another questioned, “what the Hyde Amendment and abortion have to do with protecting Americans from coronavirus?”
Pelosi and Mnuchin were engaged in negotiations Thursday morning to finalize the text of the legislation.
Politico confirmed after this article went to press that the Hyde Amendment provision was eventually removed from the stimulus later on Thursday and will hit the House floor as a separate bill.

Dr. Anthony Fauci did a facepalm after Trump mentioned the ‘Deep State Department’ in a wild coronavirus briefing

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been one of the most visible health officials in the federal government’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.
Normally stoic and even-keeled, Fauci briefly broke his poker face during Friday’s press briefing.
When President Donald Trump went on a tangent and joked about the State Department — calling it “the Deep State Department,” alluding to an unsubstantiated conspiracy against him by civil servants — Fauci covered his face.
The moment did not go unnoticed on social media — clips were shared on Twitter almost immediately afterward.
Dr. Anthony Fauci has been a stoic and even-keeled public-facing official in the federal government’s response to the coronavirus outbreak, but one quip from President Donald Trump during a Friday press conference broke his poker face.
Fauci, 79, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, has become a household name since COVID-19 — the illness caused by the coronavirus — began dominating the news cycle as it spread worldwide.
The infectious-disease expert took questions at a few points during the briefing and remained steadfast by Trump’s side. Except when the president went on a tangent about the State Department.
When Trump referred to it as “the Deep State Department,” Fauci glanced to his right and appeared to chuckle to himself before covering his face with his palm.
Shortly afterward, Twitter lit up with users weighing in on the “Fauci facepalm.”
Many shared the image or video with some variation of “Dr. Fauci is all of us right now” as the moment became a meme.
Others mocked Fauci for touching his face, going against some of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s earliest guidance about the virus.
Some seemed to think Fauci was in on Trump’s joke with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who faced questions from reporters during the press conference about his penchant for lashing out at journalists.
Earlier in the press conference, Fauci was undercut by Trump on whether an unapproved treatment for COVID-19 was safe.
The doctor has been a staple of televised federal responses to the outbreak and has found himself having to toe the line between conveying accurate information and not undermining the president, whose message has often differed from that of public-health experts.
